Joey Kercher, Director of Operations

Joey’s work is inspired by his passion for entrepreneurship. He has worked in events and promotions for over eight years, gone on tour for two years and managed a number of campaigns in the Denver area.  He holds a degree in business administration and marketing from Mesa State College.

Joey and business partner Shawn Walker met doing a promotion on the 16th street mall in Denver.  With their combined experience in events and promotions, they believed that they could provide a niche in the Denver market, and created 5280 Agency in 2009.

Joey handles the day-to-day and backend operations at 5280 Agency and keeps everything running smoothly. He co-founded iruncolorado.com with Shawn in 2010, an apparel website that supports the Colorado running community.

Interests: Skiing, traveling, winemaking and his dogs

Amanda LaFleur, Account Director

In addition to her account management experience, Amanda comes from a creative background in web and multimedia design. With over 10 years in event marketing and promotions, she has covered all aspects of the industry. She was also tour manager for several years, and one of her favorites was Fergie's of The Black Eyed Peas. Her experiences afforded her the opportunity to own and operate a boutique staffing agency out of Denver before merging with 5280 Agency in 2010. Amanda is passionate about quality customer relations and executing programs with enthusiasm and excellence.

Interests: Hiking with her dogs, painting, her cooking blog, and Hell's Kitchen

Julia Paich, Account Coordinator

Julia first met the 5280 Agency team in the summer of 2010 while working as bilingual staff at Biennial of the Americas. She has degrees in journalism and Spanish & Portuguese language from CU Boulder. Julia studied abroad for a year in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and returned after graduating to work at a vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina.

Julia works with the account director to ensure successful execution of promotional campaigns. She looks forward to helping develop 5280 Agency’s Hispanic marketing services.

Interests: wine, electronic music, Halloween, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
